At NightShine, our many supporters come together to celebrate Denver’s most comprehensive and successful health system. Denver Health shines as a national model of health care success, featuring nationally ranked specialties like trauma, orthopaedics, infectious disease, complications due to eating disorders and urology. Yet we still provide the bulk of the city’s uncompensated care, totaling more than $450 million last year alone. One in three of our city’s residents receive[CJ1] care from Denver Health, and 40 percent of Denver’s babies are born here. Our School-Based Health Centers care for thousands of public school students, and each year hundreds of doctors and nurses receive training with us. Denver Health is our community’s go-to resource when it comes to helping people heal and lead better lives.
