Venue Details

INVESCO Field at Mile High Denver ('INVESCO Field' or 'Mile High' for short) is a premier stadium venue with a total seating capacity of 76,125. Formerly Mile High Stadium, the venue underwent a $400 million overhaul beginning August 17th, 1999, with the INVESCO Funds Group paying around $120 million for the naming rights to the new, state-of-the-art stadium. January 29th 2001 marked the beginning of its reign as INVESCO Field at Mile High. The official opening came later that year, a concert by The Eagles serving as the public unveiling of the new and improved venue.

INVESCO Field at Mile High functions primarily as a football stadium, and is the home field of the NFL's Denver Bronco's as well as playing host to Denver's Major League Lacrosse team, the Denver Outlaws. However, the stadium is also a prime location for many non-sporting events, with past additions to the INVESCO Field at Mile High schedule including Bruce Springsteen who performed there as part of his 2003 'Rising Tour,' Metallica, and the now annual 'Warped Tour'.

In 2008, 84,000 people flooded the venue (facilitated only by audience seating on the field) to hear then Presidential nominee Barack Obama deliver his acceptance speech at the final night of the Democratic National Convention.

The stadium currently boasts around 300 events throughout the year. For more information on all the upcoming events, check out the INVESCO Field at Mile High schedule.
